Jordan, Joe

Joe Jordan has worked for over twenty years at the NASA-Ames Research Center not far from San Francisco, and lives on the coast of Santa Cruz, California. Originally from Virginia, he has always loved the sky—both day and night. He has worked on projects ranging from airborne observations for infrared astronomy, design of the space station and orbiting telescopes, international investigations of polar stratospheric ozone depletion, climate change studies, the search for planets around other stars, and most recently (with the SETI institute) analysis of Mars lander/rover images.
